Who ever said a road trip was NOT AN ADVENTURE!!

Yes words of my mother.... I remember as a kid that if something did not go wrong that it was a boring road trip... because something always did go wrong... My sister always got sick and we had to stop a million times... Or our ugly brown Van died for like the 10th time and I had to miss fireworks and a trip to Kanab!! Oh my our wonderful trips as a family...

well this weekend Brandon and I had a ADVENTURE OF OUR OWN!!! Frist of many, I am sure but a fun one at that!!! We have been planning a trip to snowboarding all year... finally the weekend had come!! We got everything ready.. And off we went! This picture of Brandon is a Picture of him on our way to Globe... before the adventure stats!!!

As we were on our way thru globe I noticed that it smelled like gas a ton!! so here is where part one of our adventure came into play... our jeep is an 84 and the gas lines are probably from that time... so 24 years old... yeah no wonder it smelled like gas!! lol so we stopped and Brandon fixed our gas lines!! Thank goodness He knows what he is doing... because something like that would have been an arm and a leg at a shop! but it cost us a whole 4 dollars and 10 min worth of time to fix!!!

Well after that came part two of the Adventure! We went thru the Canyon... just after globe... Jeep ran fine till about the canyon... when the bubbles from the air started to catch up to us... Then it stopped and died on us... I would have not minded so much if we were not in the canyon... but we were and it was scary on the windy roads!!

Well we had a good time.. Needless to say we got to the hotel just fine after getting suck like 5 times... oUr jeep did real well after the air bubbles were gone!! we had a ton of fun on the mountain... Tons of snow... and lots of Whipe outs... Yes AMY I did spend most of my time on my butt this time... but brandon on the other hand did real well!!! We also saw tons of people on skis that had lost both feet and poles!!!! they were the ones on strechers!! lol :)

We came home sunday in hopes to miss the traffic.. we did but we did not miss the storm!! This picture above is one just out side of Payson... so much snow it was amazing... so glad my hubby can drive in the snow and is such a blessing to me in many ways!!

well that was the play by play of our trip of an ADVENTURE!! because it is not a trip without an adventure!! You can ask my mom.. I am so glad that we had a watchful eye over us the whole time... because there were some point as to where scary movies would start if it were not for Prayers and my AMazing HUsband!
